  1. doubtfull

  2. Perhaps, the universe was created so that we can exist and ponder the answer to this question..

  3. The search is pretty intense for something known as GUT - Grand Unified Theory, or The Theory of Everything.  So far, we can link three of the forces in the Universe, but not the 4th, which is gravity.  The Large Hadron Collider may help us get closer to a time when all 4 forces were connected, but it won't tell us everything, as it is several orders of magnitude short of the power to get us back to Time Zero.  One day, I feel we will have a GUT, though many other astronomers and cosmologists disagree.  I have colleagues on both sides of the fence.

  4. ya wen we ask an alien thats species has lasted back nearly that far

  5. Nope. Not until we're dead and with the Creator in heaven. Then you can ask him details about the big bang.

But I'm all for pursuit of all scientific knowledge while we're here!

  6. Nope.  Every answer leads to another question.

  7. Finding out or not does not mean we shouldn't try. We can reasonably extrapolate back to a tiny fraction of a second after the Big Bang. If we don't try to find out, we certainly never will. Sometimes the journey is more important than reaching the destination.

  8. Well it is VERY VERY easy to understand.

Firstly there was nothing, which exploded!

And if that doesnt work, If we ever know the answer this universe would colapse and a new one would take its place (this might have happend already)
