  1. I doubt it. Apple doesnt really have a reason to do so. They are getting a ton of people on at&t and the only other carrier it can go to is T-Mobile since they are the only US GSM carriers

  2. As soon as the other carriers get out of the dark ages and update their technology.  Probably 5-10 years.  By then, AT&T and Apple will of course have something innovative that we all will want.

    Good luck.

  3. Yes they are available now. Usually they are unlocked. I answered similar question on yahoo answers and it was chosen as best answer (see links below). There are many available check out resources below.

  4. Not within the next 3 years minimum.  At&t and apple have an exclusive contract, set to either renew or expire 5 years (which may have changed after this new iphone came out) after the initial offering of the iphone.  Until that release happens, they really have the dopes that buy into it by the nuts.  They didn't even offer insurance on the first iphones, I don't know if they do now or not, but even if it's some godly phone, people still lose them!

You'll have to wait.  Other carriers are equipped to handle the science behind the iphone, but why pump out that kind of juice now, when they don't have that type or product to use with it?

  5. yes, it will be prepaid soon! but it will cost WAY MORE than $199 or $299
