  1. Ahhh thats so cool (:

i wish my school did the same.

    ahhaahah.

  2. There seems to be a shortage all over the World, as it is the same in England. But here the prices are going sky high, but no cut in consumption as yet. They would rather take all our money first, then start cutting it down. We do not have gas in the Schools here, just electric for lighting etc. But rest assured anything could happen, in the future.... this is England.. !! we always suffer in the end.

  3. A lot of school districts are doing this not only to save on gas, but other utilities as well.  Here in SoCal we have non-traditional school where the kids don't have the traditional school year, they go all year round and are assigned a schedule based on their neighborhood by a color designation. They go for a certain number of weeks straight, then have off for a certain number of weeks while another neighborhood color is attending school.  Parents don't like this much because it makes it difficult to work with the school schedule and be able to pick up and drop off their kids from school as well as arrange child care during the non-attendance periods.

  4. There are no plans for it currently.  But other Kentucky school districs are moving towards this, so never say never.

This will be big news at the local level if it does occur.  Stay up to date with your school news announcements:
