  1. You will need a freeview box for each TV, if you want to watch different channels on each TV set.  If you want to watch the same channel on each set, then a digisender would work.  I would recommend the first option though, because a digisender would cost more and only allow you to watch the same programme on each TV.  If you are happy with what is on Freeview, then you won't need to get a paid option, such as Sky or Virgin Media.  However, you may need an aerial upgrade to receive the Freeview signal, which will add to the cost.  The best way to find this out, without any financial outlay, would be to borrow a Freeview box from a friend or neighbour and try to tune it in.  The channels you receive (or don't receive) will determine whether or not an aerial upgrade would be necessary.

Hope this helps, but please feel free to contact me further if you need more advice or information.

  2. You have 2 options. A freeview box, as suggested (costing around £25) , or a PVR (Personal Video Recorder), with freeview built in.You need a good signal through your aerial, to receive digital TV.

  3. yes a freeview box is all you need to receive digital tv

  4. You need a freeview box. The ariel cable goes into the back of the box and a cable from the box plugs in the back of the telly.

You then change channels on the new remote control which you get with the box.

You get instructions with the box which show you how to automatically search for channels. It's all quite simple and you get loads of new channels - most of which are rubbish :-)
