I have heard about this a lot, in real life and here. So is it true? What are the basis for such a claim. I'm 22 and if I die today will I be resurrected the way I would have been had I lived up till 32? I always thought that no one really knows what will happen after death. Sources are greatly appreciated.

  1. At this time I could  find only two Ayahs mentioning equal ages of men and women.  I think it is Hadith of Prophet SAW  in which he said that all men and women will be resurrected in age of  Jesus (Eisa  Aleh  Assalam)  around 32 or 33 of age.

Following Ayahs in Quran that I was able to find do say of equal age of all.

    And young full-breasted (mature) maidens of Equal age;

    (  ÃƒÂ˜Ã‚³Ã™ÂˆÃ˜Â±Ã˜Â© النبأ  , An-Naba, Chapter #78, Verse #33)

    Surah 56 AlWaqiya, Ayahs

35 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation.

    36 And made them virgins.

37 Loving (their husbands only), equal in age.

    Edit:

I found the following Hadith also.

    Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5873; Muslim, 7092

With regard to their ages, they will all enter Paradise at the age of strength and youth, thirty-three years old. It was narrated from Mu'aadh ibn Jabal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "The people of Paradise will enter Paradise hairless, beardless with their eyes anointed with kohl, aged thirty or thirty-three years."

  2. yes. 33

  3. ive heard 33 that age of Jesus when he was lifted by God and saved from the Jews.

    but not sure though...

  4. whaa....i wanna stay 18 in heaven...or 19

  5. Yes, I read it in a Hadith. We will be the age of Jesus, physique of Adam and beauty of Joseph (peace be upon them all).

  6. The Qur'an says "they will be made youths of equal-age."

I don't know exactly where. But I've never heard of 32 years. But it maybe somewhere around that time. And don't listen to the 1st answerer. He's probably been drinkin all day.

    Peace for all!

  7. Lord I hope not.  Being in your 30's sucks.  I would hope somewhere in the 20's.

I'm guessing that number comes from the fact that Jesus was 33 when he died.

  8. I heard it was 33 years. And even if you died younger than 33, you'll be resurrected as what you'd be like at 33. It's in a hadith, i've forgotten it though. sorry

  9. Yup the Average Age of a Person in Heaven will be inbetweeeeen 30-33 years !

  10. Well that is the prime for women so it sounds good to me, but I think the idea is that in heaven you are not literally 32 years old but you will be in a state of life where you are not a clueless little kid, but at the same time you have your strength and health and vitality, but you never age and lose that vitality.

  11. Praise be to Allaah.

The people of Paradise will enter Paradise in the most perfect and beautiful form, in the form of their father Adam (peace be upon him), whom Allaah created with His own hand and perfected his form and made his shape beautiful. Everyone who enters Paradise will be in the form of Adam. It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Allaah created Adam in his form, sixty cubits tall… and everyone who enters Paradise will be in the form of Adam, sixty cubits tall…"

Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2545. Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami', 7928

It was also narrated by Ahmad (8505) from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him), with the words "thirty three years old", with no doubt.

Ahmad Shaakir said: its isnaad is hasan.

O Allaah, we ask You for Paradise and the words and deeds that will bring us closer to it.

    AND ALLAH KNOWS BEST!
