  1. No we won't I'm sorry those sick b******s don't know what's good for them.

  2. I hope not , however I wish plastic packaging would go away. Also what's up with all the stuff that is packed , wrapped, sealed and boxed? Too much packaging.

  3. this could be a really heated debate.

  4. Glass is fundamentally inert.  Given the recent concerns over plastic components leaching into the contents, glass looks pretty health-smart by comparison.

It is heavy and thus relatively expensive to transport, and it is breakable, but it can also be sanitized,  sealed  and reused.

My mother used Mason jars to preserve produce and meat when I was a child.  We canned corn in jars, beets,  pickles, and, among my childhood favorites - beef and venison.  That was when we didn't have freezer space and we did have animals to butcher.    We used the same jars over and over and over for years.

Glass was developed in a simpler time.  Perhaps the plastics that replaced it in many applications were not a "step forward," after all.

  5. Glass does no damage to anything; it's like melted sand. On the other hand, not having glass to protect things could be disastrous.

  6. Some things, such as green olives, require a package as inert as glass.

  7. We will see the end of many things in the next 25 years. Glass packaging won't even register.

  8. not a hope in h**l!
