Will weigh lifting with my kegs make me quicker? please help?

i want to get quicker...what weight exercises should i do?

  2. not weight exercises, go do that drill that football players do, with the crossed ropes or tires.

    also do jumpropes.

    look up plyometrics training, it helps with quickness, agility, hops.

    kegs not going to help you, send it over to me.

  3. Yes, stronger legs mean you can carry your weight with less effort. I suggest toe raises, lunges, and squats.

  4. Now I don't think drinking more beer will make you quicker...  Just kidding, anyway I'm pretty sure weight training makes you faster, because that is fast twitch muscle.  If you look at the olympic sprinters, their legs are massive.

  5. Weight lifting does improve fast twitch muscle fibers, but you should really look into a program that tells you what exercises will be most beneficial. I think that running sprints with a weight belt or some sort of resistance would really help you to get faster.

  6. the Kegs wont help at all but the weight lifting might.
