That is, will things you put on the internet come back to haunt you later, or will they become diluted by the sheer amount of information out there?

  1. Generally it depends on whether or not somebody cares about it and disseminates it. In other cases, there are automatic processes of replication, backup, and distribution going on 24/7 that may trap your tidbit of info and spread it to the 4 corners of the world.

Although the Internet is enormous, being able to find something very specific is simple. It's always best to never say anything that will incriminate you and to always be nice.

    What goes around comes around.

  2. In the way of the Wicca...."what you send out, you get back 3 fold...be it good or be it bad"...that is the 3 fold law of Wicca....and yes I am of the Wicca

  3. It will become diluted but also dispersed. Whether you say what you say online, in print or in speaking is neither here nor there. You may be bitten once and you may be pecked a thousand times as a result.

  4. I'd say it depends on what is said. I personally believe in the ability to speak curses and blessings. Not the magical stuff, just the reality of one's power over the tongue itself. Have you ever had someone hurt your feelings really, really bad just with something they said? And likewise, has anyone ever made you feel wonderful, even special with just something they said? This is what I'm talking about.

Biblically, it is written that the tongue is the most vile part of our body and we are urged to guard it at all times. It is also written that if one had enough faith, they could literally MOVE a mountain just by saying "mountain move". Now this is power.  Man's tongue has been described as a "two-edged sword".  One side for good and one to do harm.

So yes, what you say can come back to bite you because it affects people with every word you speak!

PS: Nothing on the internet lies dormant forever...
