Will wherein plain contacts affect your eyes if you have astigmatism?

I have a high degree of astigmatism but I've always worn just regular contacts.  They're less expensive and work just fine to correct my vision.  No, they will not affect your eyes.

It depends entirely on how much astigmatism you have.

Regular lenses won't correct the astigmatism...so your vision will never be as sharp and clear as if it WAS corrected.
