Will windows 3.1 run 32-bit applications?

Hi, I have downloaded Windows 3.1 and installed it. Yes, I now its a bit old but I like it. Is there and program or something to make Windows 3.1 run 32-bit Windows Applications?

  1. yes. it is possible. win 3.11 was the pre-cursor to 95 and in its latter years some official patches came out for it so that it was able to run 32bit apps. Its been years since Ive used it so I cant give you more detail, but I remember installing it. The answer to your question is a definite Yes.  


  2. No. That was in the days before 32-bit processing. Also, why the **** are you using 3.1??

  3. I doubt it. If you want to run 32-bit, invest in a more advanced model.
