Will working full or part time affect benefits?

hi, i am 19 years old. i live with my parents and i am a student studying some courses (GCSE's & A levels). i don't earn any income from doing these course such as EMA (education maintenance allowance) or ALG (Adult learning grant). if i work full time or part, will it affect my parent benefits such as income support, working tax credit e.t.c. im not exactly sure what benefits they receive. please give me some advice as i am in a critical situation and facing some financial problems.

  1. While you remain in full time secondary education (A levels etc) you parents will continue to get Child Benefit and child tax Credit for you until you turn aged 20

    Any income you get will not affect their IS or Tax Credits or Housing Benefit while you are a student. If you were no longer a student they would loose child benefit and child tax credits. When this happens you become a non depend ant and some of your earnings will affect their HB.

    While you are a student you can work with no affect on your parent's income
