i dont think so..unless you have allergies!

and its also probably a better idea to make sure to scrub your body harder in the shower than normal since you're around some dirty things..

it could.  if you wash your hands and dont do stupid things like snuggling on a sick animal then you should be fine.  certain illnesses in animals can be passed to humans so it is never safe to love on a pet in their face if they are sick.  but if you just stay clean and wash your hands frequently you should be fine.
