Fev has called for fans to defy the afl's ban on this and risk a small fine. Would you run out there?

(I would if it were someone from my team....)

  1. Yea if it was someone from my team i would for sure but becoz its fev and buddy im not. as if fev is guna get to 100 goals now.

  2. Yes!

Out of something like 6,000 afl players in ten years only three men have done it! so it hasnt happened in ages! it would be bloody amazing and not dangerous at all, they check the people for guns and stuff outside the ground before the game anyway so how could it be dangerous?

  3. Maybe...If I did it would be a spare of the moment thing.

  4. I would definitely run out there if it was someone from my team, I think it would be a fantastic experience. I do see why people are worried though, because it is a little dangerous (When Lloyd kicked 100 a kid broke his arm after being trampled when he ran out!).

  5. No, and if anyone does I hope they get the full $6000 fine!

  6. No.

Why leave a good seat & go to the trouble to run out onto the ground with all those dropkicks to celebrate the performance of another dropkick?

  7. If could be there, then yeah. Absolutely. Wouldn't it be good though if both Fevola and Franklin reached 100 goals in the same game?

I wonder if that's ever happened before...

  8. **I wouldn't because I personally don't see the point in doing so but even if you did, you'd have to be pretty unlucky to get a fine for doing so.

I was at the G in about 2000 when Matthew Lloyd kicked his 100th goal, was sitting in the front row and the security guards were just letting people jump over the fence.  I had people jumping over me and the security guard refused to do anything about it.

So to answer your question, no I wouldn't do it but I wouldn't let a fine to put you off doing it.**

  9. Yeah why not? It became a tradition back in the days of Lockett, Dunstall and Lloyd kicking one hundred in a season, and who can forget Pluggers 1300th goal? You can't get more Aussie than jumping a fence and running onto a footy ground at the time of a milestone!

On the other hand, I do understand the fear for player security all thanx to a few stupid wankers in todays society.

  10. Honestly in a perfect world I think the tradition is great but in today's times I think there is too great a chance that some crazy person will try and use the milestone for other completely unrelated protests. As seen in the Olympic torch relay. Plus there is also the chance of injuries to players, security people, police and other spectators who happen to be sitting on the fence as spectators scramble to get on the field. A litle bit sanitised but I think preapproved persons such as family, mentors etc. should be given the chance. Also I don't get this fine business. Is there a law or something? Anyway hope both reach the milestone.

  11. Why would you want to miss the end of the game, they kick you out for that, stupid idea.

  12. Yes, just like my day did when tony locket kicked his 1300th goal.
