yes!  it will stick and is great for letting the kids "draw" things to add to the scene like using a piece of green to draw a hill for jack and jill or blue to draw water.

Other things to stick to the flannel board are anythign with the hook side of velcro on it, pellon(from the fabric store...if you cut it to the size of regular paper you can run it through your printer and print pieces right on it....milk filters from fleetfarm work the same way....a great place to start for this is http://www.dltk-teach.com/books/brownbea... they have printables for brown bear brown bear but you can use any clipart for this.

i've heard that sandpaper stuck to the back of paper pieces also sticks to flannel boards, but I haven't tried it.

OOOOh one more thing.  Polar fleece from the fabric store or walmart can be used to.  I have seen someone cut pictures out of the fleece and use those for pieces.....like a piece of duck fabric then cut out 5 ducks from the fabric to use as pieces
