Not necessarily. It depends if the spinal cord is also damaged (inside the spine that contains the nerves). Even then you could still live. Although you will probably be quadriplegic and be hooked up to tubes and stuff.

Well sometimes. it depends how bad the injury is. sometimes u will be parilized from the neck down and sometimes u will die.

Depends on the impact.

If you hang someone properly you snap the neck at C2-C3 which kills the person immediately.

It depends on where the neck is broken and with how much force.
