There is a grass roots effort underway to organize a 72 Hour "Stay at Home" strike to force Congress to Listen to the 87% of the people calling for the IMPEACHMENT of Bush and Cheney.

The idea is simple...All of US Just Stay Home for 72 Hours...

NO GOING TO WORK

NO BUYING ANYTHING

NO DRIVING/BUYING GAS

NO FLYING

NO LAS VEGAS TRIPS

NO KIDS IN SCHOOL

NOBODY ON THE STREETS

For 72 Hours or until Congress starts IMPEACHMENT HEARINGS

It is completely SAFE since you will be at home with your family! You can use the time to flood Congress with phone calls and emails.

It is EFFECTIVE! This technique has been used throughout history (think Gandhi) to bring change. Most recently this week by public workers in Israel.

It sends the message that all of us want to send..."WE'VE HAD ENOUGH"

Maybe it will make the corporate masters think twice about treating us like SHEEP.

Hmmm, I don't even think the most Bush hating democrats in Congress are willing to commit political suicide by starting the proceedings so late in the game, even if they did think there was a fighting chance that there might be something he did impeachable.

I've been asking for a list of these so called offenses for months and the only one I saw was patently false.

I just signed the pledge to impeach.  In a legimate, recent poll, FORTY-FIVE percent of the respondents said they would vote for impeachment of Bush and Cheney.  WAY back last year, I stood out like a sore thumb on here when I must of been one of the first participants who called for this impeachment.  This Administration means us great harm.  The World Court will probably get dibs on them before we address their crimes.  Thank you for posting this.
