I'm 15 years old, and my parents are letting me decorate my room. (colors) I LOVE color, so I painted my walls orange.

Two of my walls I painted this color (actual pics) http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t214/Sweetiipiiwuzhere/P6190221.jpg

The other two walls I sponge painted a little brighter. http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t214/Sweetiipiiwuzhere/P6190222.jpg

You should also know we have hardwood flooring. They are tinted this color: http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t214/Sweetiipiiwuzhere/P6190001.jpg

As a center carpet, I was going to go with a medium gray, like this. http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t214/Sweetiipiiwuzhere/B-Medium20Gray.jpg

My sheers are currently white, but that's because we just had to put SOMETHING up.

My furniture is going to be white. And I am planning on putting peekaboo/shadow/whatever you call them boxes on the wall in various colors. I also have a few white shelves on my walls.

So HERE is the question. WHAT color should I go with for my sheets/comforter and curtains?? Also, do you have a better idea for a carpet color?? ANYTHING IS HELPFUL!! Like I said I LOVE color, but I don't want it to look bad. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCHH!! I WILL CHOSE A BEST ANSWER!!!!

  1. maybe a yellow for the curtains?

  2. WOW! You're choosing a warm color for walls and floor, a cool color on (I'm assuming) a throw rug. White furniture will calm the warm down. If you'd like to go opposite on the color wheel to a blue for some accents along with the white and oranges in a bed set would really set it all off. Now another idea would be to go to color everywhere. Your boxes, comforter, curtains all done in the same choice of colors. You didn't mention what colors those would be, but look at that lamp that you see out there that has 5 arms to it and each light globe at the end is different - like a rainbow. Keep the rainbow theme going and it won't look bad at all. Good luck - LT

  3. In the future remember to buy your bed spread, sheets, rugs and pattern stuff first because you can always get a paint to match any color but it is harder to get patterns to match the paint. But, you already have your paint and it is pretty. You have gone with very warm colors, so you need to think of cooler colors when picking out your bed spread like blue or green. I would suggest something in a pattern with a white background. I would also suggest a rug with a pattern. The gray has no warmth to it and does not go with the walls or the floor.
