  1. Yes, the changes coming up have to do with the digital makeup of the signal, but that signal will still be broadcast over the airwaves.


  2. What she is talking about is the audio portion and technically no... IF you are listening to channel 6 with a regular FM radio or using one of the popular all band radios out there that receives TV audio.

    If it's a major broadcaster in your area, they will be forced to convert to digital and you will no longer hear them. However if your area is still covered by low powered stations, many do not have to convert for a few years and will still be available. That's why unlike older posts I've made Pulse 87.7 in NYC should still be alive after 2009 (It's actually a low power tv station and not a FM station )
