  1. No as i don`t drive....

  2. I would but there is very little details on the site as to how you can protest...did you read where OUR oil from the Echo Fisk platform in the North Sea is being exported to America....and how American armed forces personnel here in UK have their fuel subsidised so they only pay 80p per GALLON. We are being ripped off folks.

  3. Sigh.  US users- learn to  adjust your settings to see whether or not it is a US question you are answering.  Don't reply on people patronising you by naming their country.

And no, I am off to London that day witha a bunch of Explorer Scouts.  By train.

  4. thanks for the warning I'll fill up the day before to last me over the strike

  5. http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind... it's been asked already, and you answered it

    EDIT: Very good point Ed

  6. Sorry Boris I'm all for going back to the year dot apart from being on here there's not much I'll miss!

    Kind regards

    Elric:-)

  7. Eat more the day beforehand and collect the methane you pass in a jar, that should see you through!

  8. nuclear power is the way forward

  9. no...gas prices are ok...do you remember 1978...2 dollar gas...only could get it odd or even days...10 gallon maximum.....it was heII

  10. NO. Come on Boris, remember who started the "fuel tax escalator?" That's right, CONSERVATIVE Chancellor Ken Clark!

Back in 2000 a handful of Tories and farmers decided we weren't allowed to buy fuel. If this had been MINERS holding the country to ransom 20 years earlier, a bit of police brutality would have been the order of the day.

I suspect this will be the most apathetic protest in British hstory.

EDIT - Boris *I* care what the Tories did in the past. They made me homeless directly as a result of economic incompetence and should never be trusted again, especially when a bumbling buffoon is the best mayoral candidate they can find! Now, back to fuel. NO it pollutes the air and causes traffic mayhem. It is not taxed nearly enough and should be made at least TWICE as expensive as it is now. And more congestion charges please.

  11. No, I don't care what the price is at the pump, my fuel is free as I run my car on used vegetable oil.
