Will you buy my car with no title?

i have a 97 ford taurus. i don't have a title. nor do i want to go to the hassle the sos gives you. the car has some problems. but it does run. and it still don't look bad.

Hi,

Generally its difficult to sell a car with no title as how do you prove its yours?

Unless you sell it for parts or scrap I'd recommend getting the correct documentation to get the full amount of what its worth.

No.  Just as land is sold by deed, vehicles are sold by title.  Without one, how are you going to prove to me that you own the car, and it's free and clear without a lien against it?

Just read the questions in here   "I bought a car without a title, and they won't let me register it.  How do I get a title?"

Answer:  "You go back to the seller and get a title or your money back."  

So, again, NO, never.

If the car is truely your you can write a bill of sale and let the person you sell it to file for a lost title but if the title is not in your name you could end up with a law suite against you
