  1. they can only improve it. Bud was beginning to look and smell like a diabetic horse's urine.

  2. I guess I'll have to drink Old Milwaukee or s******r

  3. no.  Bud was one of my favorite beers...I understand it's not for the beer afficianado but some of us do like it.  I doubt highly that they are going to change the recipe/formula but instead just fire most of the plant workers here and shut down the st louis brewery.  They say they'll keep their headquarters here but that's a pretty vague and wide term.  It could mean that they plan on keeping an office building open with 10 employee's.  Not saying they'll do that either but it's highly plausible that they are going to lay off hundreds and thousands of people throughout the USA.  Once again americans selling the rope to hang themselves with!

    yah capitalism!

  4. What?  Local breweries are micro-breweries, so if you just want a cold cheap beer - Budweiser is the answer.

  5. Who the h**l drink Budweiser?  Only fake beer drinkers touch that garbage.

  6. I wasn't a Bud drinker anyway.  However, if they go downhill as badly as Chrysler did when Daimler bought them out, I'll be surprised if they can keep their customer base.

  7. Any one that knocks Bud truley does not know beer. My husband drink Bud and craft beers nad the Belgian Lambics because he knows beer. "The same people that disrespects Bud are the ones that think McDonalds is good food, What fools," he says. I agreee with him.

Anheuser-Busch was a great name in brewing.

    am, are you listening?

    But the world turns.

  8. it is going too be tough esp. after they started showing the commericals budweiser " the american lager"  what a joke  just too prove money can buy everything

  9. I've had one Budweiser in the past 10 years...It was all they had at the BBQ. I only had one. I wasn't impressed.

Personally, I drink for taste and have been doing so almost as long as I've been drinking. Microbrews and Quality Imports are the only way to go.

Besides, supporting local breweries as you suggested creates jobs in my community, creates tax revenue in my community and most mocrobreweries are socially conscious...supporting charities in my community.

    EDIT:

    Untouchable,

    What?

Those who like Bud are the same that think McD's is good. People who haven't had full flavored beer.

  10. have you ever tasted Belgian beer or ale...  among the world's best.    amazing ... a country the size of New Jersey with over 2000 brands of beer/ale.

don't knock it till you try it.

and dont complain those among you who are conservative, market force supporters...

  11. Most of the large brewers are owned by international companies. It doesn't really make a difference.

Find a local, small brewer and enjoy!

  12. There goes Bush Gardens and Sea World!  I recommend you visit them before they do to it what happened to Cypress Gardens.  Call me for lodging.  ; )

I never drank Budsweiser to start with but it is sad that another American Beer bites the dust.

  13. I dont drink Bud products anyway....so the buyout has nothing to do with me

  14. I gave up drinking Bud when I discovered what good beer tasted like.
