  1. Yes I will feel sorry for her. She is so young and talented.

  2. No... they went into the Olympics knowing they were underaged and that they were cheating the system. I'm sure their hearts were in the right place, and all they wanted to do  was compete in a sport they loved... but it's really unfair to the competitors who are of age and didn't place because of it.

  3. I would. But if it was found that they are underage, then it should be clear that they did not deserve it. It's rules.

I'd feel sorry for them though, because they are becoming a victim of the American Media, always targeting young people. They're like pedophiles i swear.

But there is word that they are of age and will not get revoked, if so, then i applaud their performances.

  4. No no no! Cheaters ought not to be rewarded. Those medals do not belong to them. They can compete at the next Olympics and win them fair and square.

  5. No rules are rules. If you cheat and get caught you losee your medal!

  6. h**l no!  b/c if they had never lied to begin with this wouldn't have happened!

  7. Nope, justice will be served. Nastia deserved the gold on uneven bars and it got on my nerves how everyone favored them so much. Another is Alicia Sacramone deserved to medal not Cheng Fei, she fricken fell on her vault.

The person who said it's sad they got beat by 14 year olds, actually it's not. Think they'be been selected out of school at 3 taken from the parents seeing them once a year always training for gymnastics. And younger bodies are less beaten up as an older one.

  8. Big-M doesn't' know a d**n thing about gymnastics.

  9. I would feel sorry for them.  They should get rid of the age ban.  Johnson and Liukin should have been allowed to compete at the 2004 Olympics.

  10. No, I'd feel sorry for the girls that came in fourth place because of all of China's lying, cheating and deception.

  11. If they are in fact underage, their medals should be taken back. They might feel pissed about it but it's only their fault if they're the ones responsible for falsifying their ages. It's more likely that Chinese officials are responsible if the accusations turn out to be true. If it's shown that the athletes had a hand in the deception then i wouldn't feel sorry for them. They will have to wait their turn.

But then i just realize this - the older girls may have gotten beaten by a group of 14 year olds...that's quite sad!

  12. nope

  13. nope, that what you get when you play with fire!! you get burn!

  14. justice will be served

  15. I would feel more sorry for the people that got jacked and screwed because China cheated more than the girls in the scandal.

You don't pay tens of thousands of dollars, sacrifice you life and train your whole life to lose to a bunch of cheaters.

  16. Yes, they are pawns in all of this. That doesn't mean the medals should not be revoked if caught, it just means they should've never been placed in this position by their government in the first place.

  17. Of course I'd feel sad for them..they worked their butts off.

  18. Hmmm...it would help if we better knew the situation. Like, if the girls were pressured into it? Then I'd feel bad for them, but if they totally went along with it on free will, then I'd sort of feel like they have no concept of right and wrong. I can only imagine that millions of people have been turned down because of their age-what gives China the right?

  19. I will feel sorry for the girls because it's not like it is their decision and that they have a choice. This is the faults of adults around them, if ever. However, it is important that they know that cheating is not the way to go. Adults taught them a very bad lesson.

  20. i dont think it will happen to the girls because her passport show that she's 16. some people may say the passport is fake but can they really prove it? I think the US government has been making lots of fake passport for their people like SPY, CIA and the athletes.... they are just making a fool to the whole wild world. what a sore loser~~

  21. I Doubt they will be because i think they might cheated on age to compete in the china championships....

However if they are caught... They defiantely should lose their medals, and I would feel sorry for the girls as they are too young to understand they would have had coaches telling them what to do and say whether they liked it or not.... i would also feel for the girls who did come 2nd 3rd and 4th But i would NOT feel sorry for China as they did wrong and deserve the punishment.... Im actually thinking what would happen to China for future games because this age thing would definately have something to do with the Chinese government due to the case of passport fraud... hmmmmm

  22. Medals won't be revoked, because it would be unfair to the little girls since they were forced into this position

  23. My first reaction was "heck no!" but then I thought about it.  And yes, I would feel bad, because it's not the gymnasts faults.  It's not like they make any decisions for themselves.  If the girl is actually 14, she wouldn't be able to stand up for herself and say, no, I'm not going to lie.  It's tough.

  24. I will actually, yes.

They really did nothing wrong. They are too young to make such decisions themselves, and someone who was in a position of power over them caused them to be there. They competed for their family and their country because someone (the coaches or government) made them, and they performed extraordinarily. If it turns out they were underage, it would have been much more honorable for them not to have competed than for them to do so well only to have their title revoked.
