Will you follow golf as closely now that Tiger is out for the year?

I'm not looking for the answer from diehard couch golfers...I want to know if the general public cares about golf now that Tiger is out. Will you even tune in to see the results or highlights?

I hardly watch golf but now that Tiger is out I really don't care. So yea i won't follow as closely now that Tiger is out.

I only tape tournaments in my dvr when tiger is playing..  if he's not, i only watch the highlights at the golf channel..

Yes; I want to see who will step up and be the premier player on the tour with Tiger on the sidelines. I hope Adam Scott steps up and becomes the player I think he really is.

Of course not. Just like the ratings drop off as soon as Tiger is not in contention. I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of this year proves to be the lowest ratings for golf, ever.

I was getting into watching Tiger play and the other day i found out that there is a girl that went to my high school and she is going pro now and I will watch her.  She  did Great this past week in the amateur public links this week.  

So watch the females.

Three players...

Anthony Kim - I first like this guy 2 years ago when he first came out.  He had a fiery personality, within limits (no rory sabbatini here) that I liked and he could shape the ball beautifully.  

Aaron Baddeley - My personal favorite other than Tiger, this guy is so nice on and off the course, plus I love his swing and all around game.

Geoff Ogilvy - look for him to contend at the British and PGA.  His high ball flight should be perfect for the firm greens at both venues.

I will actually follow it closer now that he is out.  I enjoy seeing the 'rest of the pack' playing.

Most likely my viewing will go down.  Unless it's the majors.  But still down vs if Tiger was playing.

Tiger boosts the T.V. ratings about 25% so I expect a lot of people will tune out until he comes back next year. I expect a bump for the British Open, Ryder Cup and the Fed-Ex Cup, the latter because of the tremendous advertising blitz.

Because of their personalities, people will tune back in if players like Phil Mikelson, Rocco Mediate, Boo Weekly and John Daly take advantage of the opportunity and start winning tournaments.

Well with all of the "personalities" yammering about and sappy stories about how guys like Phil Mickelson overcame having to drive a three year old car to golf practice during high school, watching golf is pretty much unbearable with or without Woods.
