Yes!!  The CBC is already a total embarassment to Canada, and what really makes me cringe is that we the taxpayers actually fund that poor excuse for a station.

I can't believe they wouldn't hammer out a deal.

But what do you expect from the CBC?

actually I would not be pleased. the hockey nite theme is the 2nd canadian national anthem. tell me do you not know it within the first 3 bars. (it was bad enough when they got rid of peter puck)

K, I don't even watch hockey, but this is like a part of our national identity, people!  Please:  why would they want to do this anyway?

YES! I am livid right now. That's my ringtone, even in the summer. And that song never fails to give me goosebumps and get me pumped up for some hockey!

I already dislike the CBC, so really, it wouldn't surprise me. I'm not a hockey fan, so it wouldn't bother me that much.

YES!! it was our second anthem our tradition and you cant taake that away from canadians! but sadly it has become official! it was in this mornings newspaper!

I would be very unhappy...but the lady who owns the rights to the song is also being pretty greedy too.

A grudge....nah...too many other things to hold grudges for in life.  :)
