Will you get arrested for driving with an EXPIRED license?

my drivers license is currently expired i live in Texas, will you get a citation or get arrested?

You will get arrested, and they might suspend your license or take it away permanently.

I don't know if they'll know right away but you'll get in trouble if you get pulled over and it's expired.

If Texas is like Ohio, yes you will get a ticket and if you are not in your home county you will probably go to jail too because the police don't want to travel a long distance to pick you up on a warrant. Save yourself some grief and get it renewed.

if you get pulled over you will definitely get a ticket..... and chances are they aren't going to let you drive your car after they see you license.. why don't you just go to the dmv

you can go to jail because it is considered a misdemeanor. will you? probably not unless you have a record or you p**s the cop off.

you get a large ticket. go renew your license to avoid this. you never know what can happen. if you get into an accident with an expired license, you are at fault no matter what and your insurance wont pay. you will need to pay.
