Just talk with each other find out what you have in common, or who you know in common.  Use it as a time to learn something new about everyone in the group and relax and have a laugh about events like the Olympics, school, parties, movies, etc.

This one is easy-always have something to say.  You must always have something interesting to say, like "Man, these g*y guys just tried to jump me!"  or "I'm so shaken up-I almost hit a crackhead this morning, on the way here!"  etc...  OK OK maybe this may not work for you, but you could look at stand -up comedy from Comedy Central's Live at Gotham.  Research that and then engage people with the good ones. Simply say "hey, I heard  something funny..."
