Ok, so I 'Googled' it and found nothing. No gun ID site helped. So, I'm asking here. I was trying to get to sleep (4-5am) when I noticed a bug on my blanket (ew..). Since I have a limited # of letters, I'll just jump right into it.

It has six legs.

No wings. (Not hidden, none.)

Two long antennae with many segments.

Two small, black eyes.

It has two body segments.

The rear one is almost a long, thin oval. It's black with yellow marking. The rear segment holds four legs.

The front is attached to the back with a...feminine (shape and curve) looking waist. The front segment is round and has two legs. It's dark red with black here and there. The front segment kind of streches out to from a head, but it's all one peice. The small black eye are first, then the two long antennae, then some sort of mouth. The mouth had what looks to be two extremely small pinchers. I could only see them cause I shined a light under the bug and saw the pinprick shine through.

So, that's it; any ideas?

  1. Cerambycidae, longhorned beetle, longicorns, capricorns, round-headed borers, timber beetles, goat beetles (bock-käfern), or sawyer beetles, Most adult cerambycids, particularly the brightly colored ones, feed on flowers but there are many spieces so i will have to take some time to look thru all the photo till i find it wish me luck.
