Will you help me on VOICE ACTING?

Hey im a 15 year old girl in high school and im interested in one day becoming a voice actor. Im good at doing wierd characters.I dont know everything about it but im just wondering 1) how to start off in the career like my education and what classes to take in college and 2) how to get the job like if i should ask people if they need a voice actor or ect.

Thanks i just need help on how this whole career works and the how-to-get- there business

  1. Find a class with a tough teacher.


  2. A lot of voice actors begin as actors, so you need to follow the same paths. Take voice lessons, acting lessons. Think of going to a Drama School. And get as much experience as possible.

    You could also do some research to find out how some famous voice actors started out, like the ones who do The Simpsons and Family Guy

  3. Actually there is very very little call for character voices (silly ones) as they are voiced by pro. actors. So as someone else has mentioned, get experience in drama, then maybe acting to camera, then voice tuition. Also learn accents from someone like David Allen Stern, and read up Cice Berry UK voice tutor. Good luck.
