  1. We took our kids to both Cubs and Sox games. They both now root for the Sox as they have a great time there (firework nights helped), and they love going to the Cell.

  2. They sure better root for the White Sox!

  3. I like the mets and red sox

    but alot mets.

BUT should my son daughter choose a new team

it would most likely be the angels.. idk what about them

or some of my fam. will try to influence yankee-ography on them

  4. My kids WILL be Royals fans, my grandchildren WILL be Royals fans.  There is no free will in my household when it comes to sports teams.

  5. The will cheer for the team i like which is the Yankees

  6. I wasn't given a choice, so why should my kids, lol. My family follows the home town teams and since I don't plan to move out of Los Angeles when I "grow up", my kids will be Laker and Dodger fans. Football is up to them though, as long as its not the Raiders I'm good. I was taught about the amazing history that is LA sports, so I will do my best to educate them, but trust me they will be LA sports fans. :p

  7. I think that if they are raised as that fan, they will naturally cling on to that team.  My parents both follow the Phils and i think when your in that enviornment, and that is all you see, you'll pick that team.  I'm not going to lie, I wouldn't like it if my kids picked another team, but I guess I'd deal with it.  I'm a competitive person so my kids will probably be competitive so if we liked different teams it would make for some interesting dinnertime conversation, ha.

  8. i will try my best to make them head towards the angels.. such as..

-going to angel games when i'm pregnant

-bring home the baby in an angel blanket

-going to angel games when he/she is a little baby

    etc etc etc ;)

i'd still be exceptionally happy if they are just big fans of baseball! My family are big baseball people we can't break the chain ;)

  9. I will try as hard as I can to make my children true White Sox fans, but you know them. They can always like another team, and if they do, I will let them. I would try to make them a true fan of that team, and stay with them, but you know kids, sometimes they will switch 'em up.

If they are 5 or yougner and switch, I won't mind, but 10 and older, I will let them but me annoyed!

  10. I will be teaching them the Mets History/Players/Coaches, etc.

It is their choice to choose which team to follow, but I definitely will be encouraging them to be a Mets fan!

    Hopefully their METS FANS!

  11. I try to influence my 5 year old brother to love the Red Sox.

No Yankee hating though. Just Red Sox loving.

  12. Do whatever they want. There are enough things children have to do--they can at least root for whoever they want. My mother was upset that I was into sports. She couldn't believe a girl could be interested in sports.

  13. I live in a house divided.  My daughter turned out fine, she's a die-hard Dodger fan even though she now lives in Phoenix.  My son, on the other hand, like the Giants - unfortunately, my husband got to him.  There's hope, he's only 15, right?

  14. Let them enjoy themselves! Let them choose which ever one they have fun cheering for.

  15. I would let them make their own choice but would also make sure they know the history  of the game and most of the teams. If they choose to go with the Indians that would be great but I think they need to be individuals and choose their own team.  =o`)
