I read Cat's question and she mistakely said wedsite instead of website , which made me think of this question.
I saw a programme a while ago (3 Talk) where there were couples that were complete strangers that got married , one couple won a competition on a radio station , and only met at their wedding, others got involved through marriage websites , etc.
So would you be daring enough to do something like that...
