  1. What Immigration status  do You have?

us  citizen coming from US No Passport need it..just a Valid ID..

Legal residents need their LPR card and another ID.

Any citizen from other country will need a valid passport with a US Tourist Visa.

  2. THose wjo said you do not need a passport are correct.  If you are an American citizen, you do not need a passport to go to PUERTO rico because Puerto Rico is a territorty of the U.s., the citizens are Americans...travelling there is just like travelling to Hawaii...no passport needed.

  3. No, you do not need a passport if you are a US citizen

  4. Passport is suggested, but no passport required. Puerto Rico is a US Territory.

  5. yes you need a password to get out of the united states

  6. It's interesting that the island is called Puerto Rico and the city is San Juan, but during the Spanish colonial era it was the other way around.

Are you a US citizen?  You need a passport to get into another country, not to leave your own.  Puerto Rico is US territory, so you won't actually need one if you are an American citizen.

However, I would get one if I were you.  A passport is really good identification, for one thing, and for another it would be a shame if you had an opportunity to go to a nearby country while you were in Puerto Rico, and couldn't because of not having a passport.

    Get one anyway.

  7. My Friend,

if you are a US Citizen, you don't need a passport to enter or go out of Puerto Rico to/from USA. Puerto Rico is a territory of the United State. PR became a territory on July 25, 1898. So, if you are a US Citizen the identification you only need is your drivers license or you birth certificate.

  8. No sweety if ur coming from the USA to Puerto Rico then you dont need a Passport 'cause we are consider part of the USA plus we have American Citizenship too.  Just in case ... we do have the same currency as well. =o)

But is ALWAYS a good idea to have a passport on hand in case you decide to go somewhere else later on, like Dominican Republic or any other islands near us that are not part of the USA.  Or just for future travel !

    Hope this helps!! =o)

  9. As long as PR remains part of the US, you will not need a passport.

  10. No, you do not need a passport if you are a US citizen. The only thing they ask of you is for a valid US id. if you have one from the motor vehicle then that's fine.

  11. i live in puerto rico and used to live in the US... you do not need a passport to come here... it is a US territory...but if i were you i would get one anyway just incase...

  12. No rush...they do passports @ Walgreens now...takes about 10-20 minutes!

  13. Puerto Rico is a territory of the United States - I know people who live there and I cannot imagine why you would need a passport (a pass-word would not be helpful)
