I'm in 7th grade and I already want to become an investment banker.

Tell me what the job is, how much money would I get paid, what would I have to do to get this job, etc.

You should look into getting an MBA, the CFA and the CFP

Start reading the Wall Street Journal ... Start with 3 stories per day then increase to 5 or 6 per day. Investopedia.com is your friend. Use it when you run across unfamiliar terminology. Whenever possible, 1 WSJ story should be about interest rates. Do not underestimate the importance of studying interest rates. If you want to make tons of money you need to eat sleep and breathe capital markets. By the time you're 22 years old it would behoove you to consider trying to find a niche market because remember you're competing with your peers and you need to stand out from the crowd.

An investment banker arranges financing for companies and governments.  They also provide advice (and financing) for mergers and acquisitions.  

They can make legendarily epic amounts of money.  They also work (especially when young) like dogs-- 100 hr. workweeks are the norm.

To get the job, you will need a college degree, preferably in a relevant subject, and soon after getting the job you will be asked (required) to get an advanced degree, such as an MBA.

You're looking at a long period of time (with not much pay), maybe 10 more years. Then you can look for job or find part time work in that filed as an apprentice, looking for opportunity for promotion.

This might be off the wall, but I would finish High School and during the time research various Trade Schools.  They only take 2 years, some guarantee jobs, and the entry pay is usually union scale, not to mention union benefits.

What you will earn will depend on your college, as much depends on who you will know.
