Will you please take a moment?

Question

Will you please take a moment to image this scenario? Imagine that Jesus came back and told each individual that he/she had an important task to do. Now, He's approaching you. What is He going to ask you to do? If He simply asked you to love others as you love yourself, even if those horrid others hated you, would you do it? For atheists, take this hypothetically. For Christians, He has already asked us to do so. This was just a passing thought, and I thought I ought to express it.

yes i would, at least id try to do that (love others) depending on the circumstances of our discussion and the issues surrounding his being here etc

i think if i had a personal task,i think  it woudl be either soemthing spiritual, creative or helping people orientated, as thats what im good at and feel is my 'purpose' in this life, its what i can do while im here

The fundies would be asked to love g**s and liberals as themselves?  It will never happen.  ;-)

As for the the scenario, I try to do that.  It isn't always easy but I try.
