I will not give acceptance to the power elite by casting a meaningless vote.

If there is a candidate that is not part of the CFR and proposes to address the corruption on capital hill then I will vote. If there is a candidate that's voting record represents the interests of America and the constitution then I will vote.

Please, Please do not embrace the corruption and power consolidation of capital hill. God help us to see that corporatism is not what anyone wants. To continue to destabilize the foundation of our nation is borderline treasonous. Stop the madness protest the General election and let the world that our country has been hijacked by special interest groups and bankers.

  1. Interesting idea.

I guess I am on the fringe, or perhaps I am just a tin foil hat wearing nut job, In any event. I think that would be a great message if we could actually get enough people to do it. At the same time if we could get enough people to unify, we would not need to protest. We could simple vote for a candidate that would accommodate all of our basic desires, to be free of tyranny and represented.

The problem is that most of society is to naive to to understand that there idea of the lesser of two evils is erroneous. You either vote for the Council on Foreign Relations or you vote against them. If you vote against them, you are said to be throwing your vote away. That's right because the people know that they are owned and they will never be allowed to have someone who will actually represent them.

Unless there is an educational revolution there will not be a political revolution.

  2. You are only making it worse. Denying yourself your own right to vote just because of your radical views is annoying and tired. Don't act out by not voting. Your vote is not meaningless. If you want to do something about the corruption then go ... DO IT. Don't try to recruit people (and if you did, I'd be surprised but they probably weren't Einsteins anyway), go make your own difference in the world with something POSITIVE.

  3. I'm personally planning to protest by voting for Ron Paul. He's not part of the CFR, is against corruption, is the torchbearer of the Constitution and doesn't like corporatism. I suggest you check him out if you're interested, don't consider this spam, it's your choice. We'll have a revolution, a revolution with the ideas of freedom, and we'll be heard. Please Americans, we must do something now. Thanks!

  4. You are so right on what you're saying. However, to begin a grassroots movement like this is going to take alot more than posting a simple question like this on Answers. I mean if I don't bother to vote then - where does that get me? My vote is generally meaningless but at least it makes me feel that I've done what I could. I don't have money or power to do anything. You have to have money and power to make a difference on captial hill - they are all corrupt and willing to accept a bribe - you'd have to remove every politician and start all over again. You couldn't trust a person who would accept a bribe anyway. Yeah - it's voting for the lesser of evils but you don't have a plan, millions of people backing you and tons of money to get a legitimate message out. Plus, all of those folks with the money and power will smash you and make you look like a fool. The situation is quite hopeless. Oh well, if Hillary gets elected she'll make "peace" with Osama and then he'll nuke us unless Iran does first. She'll treat our enemies like they are peaceful nations who will leave us alone if we're nice to them. She's so naive - just like Bill - lead away his hormones in the oval office and reduced to the level of a loaf of bread. Once we're back to the pioneer days with little money, power or influence in the world - maybe things will change for the better.

  5. No.  You fall into the category known as "lunatic fringe".  You'll be out there with hard-lefties, illegal-alien rights types.

Fortunately there will only be a very small fraction of the population that would fall for such nonsense.

  6. No.

It is the right of every American to make a choice in the election.

We should all be evaluating the candidates on their views and stands both past and present and from that make a decision regarding you personal voting choice.

We have the opportunity to do so, unlike many other countries. So why not put it to good use.

    Just remember to Choose wisely!

  7. I would like to personally thank you for not voting. You are doing a great service to your country, and should be commended.

One question I have for you though...if no one voted, would the power elite be any less powerful, or corrupt?

  8. If you aren't voting, you better be running for election, right?

Is your name in the hat?

  9. i personally do not agree that an american vote counts. i have never voted and never will.

  10. It's the general election...people should vote and participate in local governments.  The problem is that they are not doing it.

You should get involved more, not less-- unless you want to continue to sell your rights down the drain.

The Power Elite are counting on people giving up.

    Don't do it.

  11. Perhaps you prefer the election procedures in Russia? You should have been with me in Iraq a few years ago. People died to be able to vote for the first time...Did n**i Germany hold free elections?  How are things in Cuba these days? The beauty of freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from oppression, the choice to pursue a career, freedom from totalitarianism, hundreds upon hundreds of thousand men and women shed their blood and paid the ultimate price for YOUR freedom of expression and gave YOU the right to vote in a democratic republic. If you think the system stinks, you are entitled because of the blood shed by YOUR forefathers. You never served have you? We have a pretty good life in this country. Try to express your feelings in Iran or Syria. God help you.

  12. The problem is that not enough people are motivated to vote & look out for their own interests, so they allow the special interest groups to take over & decide for them. It's the people's fault, not the system. If people stopped being so apathetic & brain-washed lazy, we would all be much better off. Get off your but, do some research & take some real interest in the political process, not just all the rumors & dirty laundry they want to distract you with. Find out the real facts, decide what's best for you as well as your fellow countrymen (and women) and get out there & vote. You may just see some changes for the better!

  13. Why is it when some one wants change or to protest the current corrupt situation the are called crazy? I am voting for Kucinich. He has voted against these jokers and been right every time. Now they admit NAFTA and the war thing was wrong. Only because both sides are fed up with them.

  14. no, but i wish you great success with this effort. it makes my vote that much more influential.

  15. no.

But I will vote third party, until I see the day when congress is divided three ways!

    Third party!!

  16. I'm going to vote for Ron Paul, so far.  If you don't vote for anyone they will think it is apathy, not protest.

  17. Not generally.  :)

  18. If everyone has the attitude that they are not going to vote-then things will continue as they are.We need to elect a Democrate first, then whittle away at the corruption, hold him or her accountable and demand that they are clear with their direction for this country. If not-impeach!
