why torture me?  

a poem is not endless accounts of your personal pain?  let me ask you - if you were an editor would you want all these poems crossing your desk to be about rejection and loneliness and depression and pain?  

you know one of the top selling books about poetry?  it's called baseball poems..  why not pick a subject that is  something popular and then write poems about it..

write about something you enjoy...
