Are you aware about the green house effect, what thing do you do to help the earth.

before I go to work  (I wont be in the house anyways) I will shut down electricity from the main power so that I do my part

If global warming is real...and I think it is, I doubt we can have much of an effect. The next volcanic eruption will undo all our hard work. But I am all for shutting off the lights. Raising awareness of energy use is good. It can save money and maybe we could spot a star or two without the lights blaring all over town.

RIGHT ON GIRL! i am so glad that there is atleast one person who is helping the earth like mee. yes i am aware of the green house effect. i try to do everything i can to help the earth.

haveing a compost pile

bring my own bags to the grocery store

useing a re useable water bottle

and encouraging alll my friends and family to bee green like u and i

these are only the basics i do

allso on earth day get a bunch of ur friends and go around ur community and pick up trash(ik it sounds gross but i do it and it will make it a better place, and u will feel great. also go around to local bussynesses and ask for donations(money) so u and ur friends can go to a store and  buy plants and seeds to plant around the comunity on earth day. wen asking for money bring a parent in so they dont think u are trying to get the money for the mall or something. also if they say they cant give anymoney dont be rude. monney is so hard to come by these days,some buzzzynesses just can do that. just say thankyou and leave. i am sure they aree supporting u in spirit.

We have solar power and solar hot water installed. I am a vegitarian. we have rain water tanks. we dont use heating or air conditioning. we have a top loading washing machine and water saving taps and shower heads. Our car runs on gas. I catch the bus to school. We use energy efficient light globes. We have double glazed windows and heavy insulation in our roof and walls. No floor coverings, just the concrete. We ALWAYS turn off our TV, Computer and other appliances PROPERLY. We always buy organic food if it is avalible. We have about 200 trees growing on our block. So yeah, I am doing alot to help save the earth. And yeah, we did earth hour last night.
