If he is still as great as classified today. They are saying he is from the future so by the time i have grandkids the future athletes may be just as good as him.

Of course I will. I believe that at that point he will still be the person with the most Olympic golds in a single games, in multiple games and by that point maybe even the most medals overall.  

But Phelps is about more than just medals - he is a great sportsman, his gesture in effectively giving away a gold medal at the last game was awesome.  And his lighthearted and approachable demeanor also shows him to be more than just an athlete, he embodies the ideals of sports and sportsmanship.  He is a role model for anyone looking to take up sports or any other challenge.
