I had blood work done and an esophagram. Both came back fine.. Im sore in the neck on each side of the throat. I think it has to do with the muscles in my throat? Anyone know?

  1. no chance of cancer ,

  2. Blood work would not be very helpful.

Esophagram would show any functional swallowing problems and maybe if a mass was pushing in on the esophagus.

Soreness could be muscle or reactive lymph nodes.

Cavities/dental problems could cause neck discomfort if you had reactive tender lymph nodes; if by throat pain you meani like sore throat I would say not likely to cause that.

Clicking could go with TMJ and could make muscles sore around jaw.

If symptoms persist I would recommend seeing ENT doc and /or your dentist.

    God bless, best wishes
