Will £2500 ($5500AUD) be enough to travel for for 2 months around Europe (& a week in Singapore)? I'm in UK.

I'll be backpacking on the cheap & my dates are 29 July to 3 Oct. Flight back to Oz is paid for via Singapore / Malaysia for a week. 10 days in Edinburgh will be free accom & fairly cheap due to established ties here. Any tips on money saving, good places to see & stay would be much appreciated! This has been a greatly anticipated trip.

I think it'll be tight, but if you're going on the cheap, you should be okay.

If you're planning on backpacking you should be right, but bare in mind that things are HEAPS more expensive in Europe than they are in Australia (which you might already know if you're in the UK already.  I'd highly recommend staying in Youth Hostels (YHA International) - they're generally really clean and offer breakfast and other meals on the cheap - also all over England and I think Europe as well, look at their website for more.  

Tips: when you go to Europe (especially if you're travelling alone) a LOT of beggars will come up to you asking if you speak English and then asking for money.  If you give to one, then they'll ALL try to get money off you and generally whatever story they're spinning for you is not true.  (Please don't think I'm a terrible person, I've been to a fair few places internationally and it's really hard not to give, but often the money does not go to the person you're giving it to).  Also, shopping in Singapore/Malaysia is pretty good, so you'd probably want to save a bit of money for that!  I'd highly recommend going to a castle in England (they're everywhere and super cool!), and to Liechtenstein (a tiny little country near Switzerland) - it's the smallest little place but absolutely breathtaking scenery!  Have a gerat time!
