  1. Willesden Green is really close into Central London so you can get to the centre easily and cheaply, and it's mostly residential, lots of big Georgian houses cut into flats but surrounded by big gardens and mature trees. Willesden Green tube will take you directly and cheaply into the West End and if you're young and going to rent a room there I reckon you've made a really good choice. No trouble or drugies. Nice walk into Kilburn for a pint or food. Lots of buses from Kilburn into the centre, or the No. 8 bus

    from Willesden Green/Kilburn/West End.

  2. Thats where i live!!!! well really close at least

  3. No so bad. The neighbouring area of Cricklewood has always been a "starter"area for immigrants, so on Chichele Road, there are usually gangs of manual labourers waiting to be hired. Used to be Irish people, now mainly Poles. and Easter Europeans.

Ultra-posh Brondesbury (as opposed to Kilburn) is very near.

There is a large park nearby, Gladstone Park, which is pleasant. Good travel links from the Jubilee line, which now goes out to Docklands. Easy access to the West End. Marble Arch is on a straight run. M1 easily accessible from Staples Corner. Brent Cross shopping centre not far away.

Harlesden NW10 is maybe too close, however, where my wife would be afraid to live.

  4. its good, and close to kilburn for a night out. Chavs are everywhere though, no matter where you live.
