William regal..now that he is back?

Question

So now that he is back, where does he go from here? Who will his next feud be against? He is using the King gimmick so he is credible, I think he should feud with a upper-midcarder/Main Eventer.

Thoughts?

Well I thought he was going to feud with Jamie Noble but I guess that clean win ends whatever interaction those two were going to have.

I think he will beat up some jobbers/mid carders for a little while before moving onto a upper mid card feud. Obviously they want to push him to the upper mid card/main event.

I hope Regal gets a run with the world belt. I started watching wrestling because of Regal back in the WCW days when WCW Worldwide was the only wrestling show I was able to see, and have followed his career since then. I even remember his TV debut on 'World of Sport' on British TV back in the 80's, when he was 'Roy Regal.' Sure, he's had his problems - and he's let a few people down - but he does have a very unique style and is not just a carbon copy of other wrestlers. A program with someone of the calibre of HBK would be fantastic, and a perfect platform for a world title run.

i think if they keep him around he needs to be low to mid carder. he has never really been that exciting to watch. why they brought him back i dont know

Agreed.  He's a good wrestler and gets good heat, of course he should be a main eventer.  Like Jeff Hardy though, he screwed himself during the main event push he was getting.  

But also, like Hardy, I think they aren't going to hold that against him for too long and eventually will push him back to main event status.

I think William Regal is the best technical wrestler in the WWE today!

i am glad he is back, I really want to see him in the main event as he is quite worthy of that spot. Even if he is not to win a world title he could make others such as CM Punk look like a million bucks...

For now, he will most likely feud on the mid card.  He needs time to prove he can stay clean and off drugs.  When and if he has done that to a satisfactory level, he should then resume the main event push he was receiving before his supension.  He squashed Jamie Noble, who is a very talented wrestler in his own right.  So WWE isn't pushing Regal THAT far back as punishment.  They even gave him a match against the champ CM Punk when he came back.  Regal faired very well in that match, and even hurt Punk pretty bad when he kicked him in the head into the ring post.  This would make a great title feud in the future, and this could be the seeds planted to get there.  Remember, Regal beat Punk to become King of the Ring.  One question though...what's with that new shirt he wears in the ring?  As far as his next  feud, maybe Kofi Kingston, but  it would be better against men like JBL, Jericho, or other main event types.  Or if he could win the IC belt...how bout a champion vs champion feud?  I think we will one day see Regal with the main belt.  He's good enough.  He always was.  Will they ever let him have it though?  I for one hope so.

i agree cause he should be in the main event anyway cause the man bleeds talent and he is one h**l of a wrestler(better than Batista and Cena) and he can actually carry a match, the guy's a Veteren that deserves more than what he gets

Well I think he will pretty much fued with Shelton Benjamin sooner or later for the US championship. After messing up the KOR and ruining probably the best general manager reigh since Eric Bischoff, Regal will not likely be placed in the spot light anytime soon.

i think he should feud with snitsky to decide the number one contender to the world heavyweight title.

I hope he gets a IC title shot soon, he has the wrestling ability, and definitely can do a good promo, I hope he feuds with Beth Phoenix for the IC title!
