correct name of Williamstown, how did it get it's name.

  1. This is the most I could find on a Williamstown, Corbally Parish, County Tipperary.  It's dated circa 1837:

    " . . . Fairs are held at Williamstown on March 11th and Nov. 27th, chiefly for pigs. . . ."

    "In the Roman Catholic divisions the parish forms part of the union or district of Bourney; There are two chapels, one at Williamstown, and one at Camlin."

    I could not find a Williamstown in Tipperary with Google Earth.
