Arsenal’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463 is set to be only a month away from making his return, as Arsene Wenger has revealed that the players is in fantastic shape.
The Gunners midfielder and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international went on to pick up an ankle injury in last year’s pre season, and since then the player has failed to play a single game for the North London club.
Not only did he miss out on the entire season, but his injury also prevented him from playing in the Euro 2012 and in the London Olympics 2012.
Wenger has admitted that he will be taking a very cautious approach to the player and his recovery once he is back, but admitted that having him back in the team could prove to be beneficial for the club.
"It looks very good for Wilshere," Wenger told reporters. "I would say give him a month."
The manager also went on to talk about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, as it looked like the defender might have picked up a serious knock.
The manager insisted that it was nothing more than a bump and that his captain would be back for the coming game.
He added: "Vermaelen just had a kick. I didn't see exactly what happened but I don't think it is too serious and he should be alright."
Arsenal’s manager then went on to talk about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Abou-Diaby-c3453, as he revealed his delight over the players return and with him regaining full fitness.
He was quite happy with the way the Frenchman controlled the midfield and hoped for him to continue to do the same in the coming weeks.
He continued: "It is massive for us to have Diaby back from injury too. He looks in good shape, and there is a lot more to come from him."
Despite not making a number of huge signings in the summers, the team seems to have brought in enough players to help them move forward, while a number of their players recover and return to full strength.
Should everything work out to Wenger’s plans, then the Gunners could finally contest for a trophy or two this season.
