http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463 has had successful surgery on his knee and will be back in training before the start of the coming season.
After missing out on the entire 2011-2012 season, due to a recurring ankle injury, Wilshere went on to suffer another setback, as he was forced to have an operation on his knee.
It was uncertain what the future would hold for the twenty year old, given the constant injuries that he seems to be suffering from.
However, based on what has been revealed about the players latest operation, he seems to be doing just fine and is on track to make a comeback to the team next season.
Despite him seemingly being in line to return to the Gunners squad, his chances of making the Euro 2012 squad with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 are more than likely as good as gone. At the same time, Arsene Wenger is not going to even consider letting him playing in the Olympics, since he can’t afford to see the midfielder suffer from any more injuries.
Wilshere initially went on to pick up an injury in the pre season, as he seemed to land awkwardly from a jump.
This awkward landing forced him to have surgery on his ankle, which saw him miss out on most of the season. Soon after, when it looked like he might return to the team, he had another setback in a training session and was then ruled out for the entire season.
With his latest surgery, many wonder if the player will ever be able to play at full strength again, given the fact that he seems to be getting injured, way more than he would like to.
Given the shady injury record that Arsenal have, many fear the worst for Wilshere. However, at the same time, it seems like the player might end up coming back even stronger than before, considering how long he spent on the sidelines.
Nonetheless, at this point in time, nothing can be said for certain and it is going to be a wait till the start of the season, to see whether the player ends up returning to the team or not.
