Hey. I'm about to buy an 'ncode ntour (95 i believe...?) racket and I was wondering, what makes the racket 'ncoded'? The strings? and if so, if I restring the racket, then will the racket even be 'ncoded' anymore?

  1. the term 'nCode' refers to the nano technology material that Wilson uses in their racquet frames. this creates denser molecular structure which mostly consists of hypercarbon and graphite - in the end, gives more solid feel and provides better durability. later these days, Wilson enhance the technology and called the material Karophite Black, as one of their K Factors campaign.

so bottom line, it's in the frame, not in the strings. hope it helps :)

  2. The frames, its materials that was made of, composed of it. The composite materials were called ncode, not the strings. Superb rackets for the pros.Makes Your games to the max

  3. ncode is special for it's head size and shape.....The strings play no role.......

  4. ncode refers to the nano technology used to manufacture the racket. the strings on the other hand is not nano tech.. they have a technology to create a string...so it is ok to restring the racket.. and by the way the oversize racket is not a cheap racket.. it is manufactured to make beginners easy when they play tennis.. and if u mastered the techniques then u could move to other sizes unitl u could get used to a pro racket,
