Wilson glove oil on Rawlings baseball mitt?

This might sound stupid, but if I use Wilson glove oil on a Rawlings mitt instead of buying Rawlings glove oil will it mess up the leather on my mitt?

Its leather. Any way you put it, its the same thing as your sofa. Branding is just a thing to get you to buy it. Some guy makes it then sells it to a brand name company to make his money. Have fun with it
