Do u think it is good to have the two Williams sisters playin doubles together??? Who do u hope wins the boys and girls singles?????

Sure, I think it's a good thing that the Williams Sisters are playing doubles together.  It brings more recognition to the doubles game.  Also, since women's tennis is only 2 out of 3 sets, playing doubles shouldn't leave them too tired to be competitive in the Singles draw.  Finally, the 2 of them have an excellent shot of winning the Championship!  Why wouldn't they want to add another championship to their long lists of achievements?

For the record, I hope Roddick wins the Mens Tournament, and I hope Davenport wins the Womens Tournament.  Since I don't follow junior tennis, I don't know who is playing in the Wimbledon boys and girls tournaments......

I have always felt that the Williams sisters playing doubles has been the greatest thing to ever happened to the Doubles game in Tennis.

Sometimes a doubles match can be just as exciting as a singles match and the Williams sisters have been able to put women's doubles on the map, moreso, than any other team this decade. Mostly because television networks refuse to cover any of the doubles matches. However whenever Venus and Serena are playing together they always find the time to cover it, which I love to watch.

Hopefully the Bondarenko's and the Radwanska's can live up to their potential and then we can get to see not only some great singles action from them, but doubles as well.

As for the Juniors. Well the draw is supposed to be done on June 27. As for who might win... gosh you're guess is as good as mines. LOL

Recent junior winners at Wimbledon includes Urszula Radwanska who is the reigning girls singles and doubles junior winner, and who has just advanced to the second round in the Ladies main draw this year. Her sister Agnieszka Radwanska won the girls title in 2005, and has since then, made a successful transition to the professional tour, currently ranked number 11 in the world. And in 2006 Caroline Wozniacki won the girls title and is now one of the up-and-coming players to watch on the professional tour.

As for the boys, the defending champion is Donald Young, who is currently being billed as America's next big hope. However he lost his opening round match in the Men's main draw today. Also in 2005, France's Jeremy Chardy won the boys title and recently got to the fourth round at last month's French Open.
