Wimbledon 2010: Roger Federer to make come back!
After the big man’s exit from the French Open on Tuesday night, Ralf Weber became the second happiest person in the game of tennis at the moment. In reality, the German's joy may have even exceeded that of Robin Soderling who was Federer's victor in the quarter-finals.

Weber is the director for the Gerry Weber’s Open Tournament. About 17 years ago, the tournament was initiated in Halle, Central Germany by Weber’s father. Weber has been playing a significant role in the preparation for Federer’s next stint at Wimbledon. From 2003 onwards, world number one Roger Federer has succeeded on the grass court for four consecutive times. In another record, the tennis player from Switzerland has won all his games at the All England Club.

However, the Swiss was tired by his runs to the final of the every French Open tournament till date and his early exit was expected. His coach is likely to restart Federer’s traditional preparations for Wimbledon that would eventually make up the year for Ralf Weber.

The loss to Robin Soderling finished his extraordinary run of 23 consecutive appearances in the semi-finals of major Gram Slam tournaments. However, Roger Federer seemed quite positive while talking about his defeat. Federer explained the advantages of losing in the quarter-finals of the French Open. The player said that he has got a number of days to practice for a season on grass courts.

In 2007 as well as 2009, Roger Federer triumphed at Wimbledon. The tennis star did it without even playing a single grass-court Championships in the build-up for the tournament. However, he knows that by going to Halle, Federer will definitely be well prepared. The comfort of the players is carefully taken care off there and in this regard, every possible thing is done for their ease. The hotel is just 90 meters away from the venue. The public cannot view any of the practice grounds with special care being done towards the designing of their courts in order to look like the All England Club's. Hence, the Swiss player has a good chance of regaining from the setback with ease.

According to Federer, it just takes an hour to overcome the big loss as there are so many different matches to play in the upcoming season. The world number one tennis player does not seem to be too much annoyed of the bid defeats as he hardly thinks about them. It’s a positive approach to move on instead of wasting one’s energies on something that can’t be undone.

Wimbledon will begin within 18 days time. Tennis star Roger Federer will definitely appear as the favourite one to win the tournament but sadly not as the number one player in the world. The Swiss would have been the leader in the WTA list on Monday if he had made the semi-final match of the French Open.

Federer on the other hand commented that losing the high point is surely not the end of the world for him. The player is quite sure of getting back his spot soon and insisted that it would be an even greater joy.

However, in the light of Nadal’s strong chance of further strengthening his top position at Wimbledon, it seems more of a desire. No matter what happens, Roger Federer will have to defend his title like a true champion.

Nevertheless, it would be silly to even think that Federer’s golden days are gone. He is one of those players who always remains extremely fit and has the ability of coming back strongly.

In 2007, Federer lost in successive Masters Series tournaments in Indian Wells and Miami. Those performances had caused scathing criticism from former players who had placed their doubts on Federer’s future. But the tennis star, like a great champion, came back by winning the U.S. Open, the Wimbledon as well as the Tennis Masters Cup. He also made his way to the finals of the French Open.
