Wimbledon's towels say the name Christy on them...why?

All the towels say the name Christy because of Christy Allen. She invented tennis and named the town of Wimbledon in the early 1500's.

Sorry I have never seen those.  I have seen the word Wimbledon on all the ones I have seen.  If there is Christy for whatever reason those could be one of their sponsors.  Sorry.
