Wimbledon Final 2008 was the greatest?

You bet your bottom dollar it was the greatest match. Though I'm more partial to Federer on Grass, The kind of a match was a match that either player deserved to win or lose. Nadal played excellent and the match could not hve been scripted if you paid someone to do it. One thing for sure is that Djokovic against either Nadal or Federer would not have been able to give that kind of a show. Tennis is best you suck.

It was a great match! They were pretty evenly matched. When  Federer lost the last game that he served, I was freaking out! I was like, its all over now haha. I am much more partial to Federer, but I also like Nadal. Both of them are very classy and played great! Although Federer did suffer a bit @ the net.

i absolutely love both of them but i have to say i was rooting for nadal just because he is very athletic and hes got great placement of the ball. the one major thing federer had going for him was his insane speed and power of the ball. yet nadal also hits the ball as hard as he can on every shot which i really admire. that was a great matchup and the game was amazing! fun to watch!

It was the greatest because whenever the two had set point or championship point no one ever choked it was always the other making spectacular plays to come back and make that maatch last 1234567890 hours

I was literally on the edge of my seat watching their game. I wanted Federer to win. I have nothing against Nadal though. They're both great players and that was an epic match. I hope to see the same at the US Open.

Awesome match! I wish Fed had had fewer back court rallies and more net ones - where he excelled. Wonderful to see his versatile play.

I have to admit that match was one of the greatest that I've ever seen.  Although I strongly dislike Nadal and love Federer they both played outstanding tennis just Nadal was a little bit better.

Yes, Djokovic would never been able to play like that against Nadal or Federer. Federer should of won, but again, he made a lot of mistakes. I'm no fan of Nadal.

Not sure if it was the greatest game ever, since Roger made a lot of errors, but I think its a top in Wimby history. The best was the Miami Masters (in 06? Fed vs Rafa) which the commentators referred to after the 2nd set.  I love Roger, and think he should have won. He played better than Nadal, but Rafa gets into his head, and so he made a few bad decisions.

Tennisisbest is a new tennis player, he doesn't understand the fine subtleties of the game. Maybe he'll realize his impotence when it comes to brains.

I think that Djokovic would've been able to hang in there, but not get everyone on the edge of their seats. I love Nadal..so glad he won! I wasn't always a fan of his, but he made a believer out of me..
